Visiting Practitioner

School: WIUT Business School Duty station: Tashkent, Uzbekistan Reports to: Head of Department (according to chosen subject area) Deadline: December 1, 2026 Summary of Position and Key Responsibilities Westminster International University in Tashkent is seeking Visiting Practitioners who should be able to teach a range of modules within the subject area, including the associated preparation, assessment setting, marking and review process in accordance with the University Quality Assurance and Enhancement process. Visiting Practitioners should demonstrate commitment, flexibility, passion and enthusiasm for the subject area. They should also be well-organized and able to plan ahead and meet deadlines. Visiting Practitioners must deliver the course content validated by the accreditation bodies of the University of Westminster in London. Visiting Practitioners are hired for the following core disciplines for the second semester of the 2026/27 academic year: • Management and Markenitng • Economics • Finance Minimum Qualifications • Master degree [highly qualified Bachelor degree will also be considered] and have at least 2 years of industry experience in the subject area. • Fluency in English either with 7 IELTS or a subject qualification taught and assessed in English. • Teaching experience preferred. NOTE: Visiting Practitioners will carry the rank of Associate Lecturer or Lecturer, Senior Lecturer depending on qualifications. The contract will be on a semester basis or one academic year.
