UGO is looking for an International University Admissions & Scholarship Mentor to guide students through applications to universities abroad.
Practical admissions experience is required. You should have helped at least one other person prepare or submit an international university application and be able to explain your contribution.
Experience through an education consultancy, freelance work, volunteering or independent mentoring is welcome. Junior mentors with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Previous work at a study abroad consultancy or admissions agency is a strong advantage.
Payment is commission-based: starting at 25% of the agreed UGO service fee, with the opportunity to increase to 32%. There is no guaranteed fixed monthly salary.

• Identify suitable scholarships and financial aid, checking eligibility, funding coverage, documents and deadlines using official sources.
• Help students strengthen their profiles and improve their own personal statements, essays, CVs and supporting materials.
• Guide application preparation and submission, conduct practice interviews, and follow up on university requests and decisions.
• Hold regular student meetings, communicate with parents and the UGO team, and keep records, tasks and deadlines updated.
Requirements

• Practical knowledge of admissions requirements and scholarship or financial aid opportunities in the destinations you know.
• English sufficient to research official requirements, communicate professionally and review application documents and essays.
• Russian and Uzbek sufficient to advise students and communicate confidently with parents.
• Strong research, writing, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to support several students, use shared documents and student-management systems, and meet deadlines.
• Respect for confidentiality and academic integrity. Students must remain the authors of their application materials.
You may specialise in particular countries or admissions systems. Please identify these in your application. Relevant practical experience matters more than the number of years worked.
