Accountant (Бухгалтер)

We are looking for an Accountant to maintain statutory accounting under Uzbek National Accounting Standards (NAS) and to prepare IFRS financial statements. You will work across both frameworks, handle tax compliance, and support audits and management reporting. Key responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting and month-end/year-end closing under Uzbek NAS Prepare IFRS financial statements, including NAS-to-IFRS transformation and reconciliations Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, corporate profit tax, personal income tax, social tax and others) via the State Tax Committee e-reporting system Process e-invoices and reconcile with counterparties (Didox / Faktura.uz) Manage fixed assets, payroll accounting, accruals and provisions Prepare management reports, budgets-vs-actuals and ad hoc financial analysis Support external auditors and respond to tax authority requests Monitor changes in Uzbek tax and accounting legislation and IFRS updates Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics ACCA: at minimum the three Applied Knowledge papers (BT, MA, FA) passed. Financial Reporting (FR) or ACCA DipIFR is a strong advantage Solid practical knowledge of IFRS Strong knowledge of Uzbek NAS, the Tax Code and reporting procedures 3–7 years of accounting experience, including hands-on IFRS reporting Proficiency in 1C:Accounting and advanced Excel Languages: English (working level, both written and spoken), Russian and/or Uzbek
