Truck Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities: • Source and negotiate dry van freight directly with street brokers • Plan, assign, and monitor routes for OTR drivers to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery • Communicate with drivers throughout their trips regarding schedules, delays, and route changes • Build and maintain relationships with brokers to secure consistent, well-paying dry van freight • Ensure compliance with FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies • Build strong working relationships with drivers to support retention and satisfaction Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience in trucking, OTR freight, or logistics • Established relationships with street brokers and freight boards (DAT, Truckstop.com, etc.) a strong plus • Strong communication, negotiation and multitasking skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Proficiency with dispatch/TMS software and standard office tools • Ability to problem-solve under pressure and manage multiple drivers/routes simultaneously • Strong geographic and route-planning knowledge What We Offer: • Competitive salary based on experience • Supportive team environment with room for growth • Stable, established dry van OTR carrier
