Material Management Manager

Material Management Manager FE LLC ZTE Investment is recruiting for a new telecommunications project in Uzbekistan. This role will ensure timely, traceable material availability throughout telecommunications project delivery. Responsibilities • Prepare material demand and supply plans using rollout forecasts, bills of materials and agreed buffers. • Coordinate procurement, logistics, warehouse and engineering teams to align delivery with site readiness. • Monitor allocations, stock levels, shortages and delivery risks and implement recovery measures. • Maintain controls for material receipt, storage, issue, return and project reconciliation. • Ensure serialized equipment and damaged or excess stock are recorded with auditable project allocations. • Review inventory accuracy through cycle counts and investigate discrepancies with responsible teams. • Report availability, consumption and aged stock and identify opportunities to reduce waste and idle inventory. • Coordinate final stock reconciliation, equipment returns and handover of material documentation. Requirements • Material planning, inventory or logistics management experience in telecom or engineering projects. • Strong Excel and ERP or warehouse-system skills and understanding of serial-number traceability. • Ability to coordinate supply constraints and maintain reliable inventory controls. • Professional working English; Russian or Uzbek communication skills are an advantage. • A proactive approach, clear communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams. Working conditions • Full-time, on-site work based in Tashkent, Aybek Street 14. • 5/2 schedule, 8 hours per day. • Salary will be discussed during the interview.
