Site Engineer (Telecommunications)

Site Engineer (Telecommunications) FE LLC ZTE Investment is recruiting for a new telecommunications project in Uzbekistan. This role will coordinate telecom site implementation from readiness checks through commissioning and handover. Responsibilities • Check site readiness and compare field conditions with approved installation drawings and material lists. • Coordinate subcontractor activities and communicate technical instructions and daily work priorities. • Verify equipment mounting, cabling, grounding, labeling and workmanship against project requirements. • Support commissioning and integration under approved procedures and escalate technical issues. • Monitor quality and EHS requirements and record deviations and corrective actions. • Prepare daily progress reports, photographs, test records and accurate equipment inventories. • Coordinate access constraints, material shortages and design clarifications with project functions. • Support inspections, punch-list closure, as-built updates and customer handover. Requirements • Relevant telecom equipment installation, commissioning or site engineering experience. • Ability to interpret installation drawings and follow technical and EHS procedures. • Practical troubleshooting, reporting and subcontractor coordination skills; ZTE familiarity is an advantage. • Professional working English; Russian or Uzbek communication skills are an advantage. • A proactive approach, clear communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams. Working conditions • Full-time, on-site work based in Tashkent, Aybek Street 14. • 5/2 schedule, 8 hours per day. • Salary will be discussed during the interview.
