Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer FE LLC ZTE Investment is recruiting for a new telecommunications project in Uzbekistan. This role will verify site workmanship, technical evidence and corrective actions against project quality requirements. Responsibilities • Inspect telecom installation and commissioning activities using approved drawings, specifications and checklists. • Check equipment mounting, cabling, grounding, labeling and installation workmanship with field teams. • Record nonconformities with clear evidence and follow up corrective actions until verified closure. • Review test and installation reports for completeness before site acceptance submission. • Analyze recurring defects and support practical root-cause and prevention measures. • Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality deviations without compromising EHS requirements. • Maintain inspection records, defect registers and quality dashboards for management review. • Support customer inspections, internal audits and quality training for local implementation teams. Requirements • Relevant telecom installation, engineering, inspection or quality-control experience. • Ability to interpret drawings and test reports and document deviations accurately. • Knowledge of inspection methods and site EHS procedures and strong attention to detail. • Professional working English; Russian or Uzbek communication skills are an advantage. • A proactive approach, clear communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams. Working conditions • Full-time, on-site work based in Tashkent, Aybek Street 14. • 5/2 schedule, 8 hours per day. • Salary will be discussed during the interview.
